We only met Bubba once at Courtney's graduation but he was a kind and gentle man. Lil Tim says he was an awesome singer and guitar player, he likened him to James Taylor. We are so sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you all.

I don't know what else to say but thank you to Bubba for all that he stood for. Bubba was always there for anyone who needed him and would gladly give you the shirt off his back. He was and still is my hero! He showed me what it means to work hard and support your family through thick and thin and God bless him he had the patience to sit and teach me to play guitar and listen as I fumbled through as best I could. As bad as I'm sure it sounded he was always encouraging and I can't thank him enough for that. It's on all of us now to live our lives by the same virtues he stood for and to be there for one and other in our times of need. I love you Uncle Bubba, thank you!

To Bonnie and the Hiers family, Rick and I have known Bubba for over 25 years, he was a regular at the haunts we all frequented. He was always a happy, funny man that never let on of his own problems. He will be missed by many but most of all his family. We are praying for you all to not be in pain in your grief, but celebrate his life with happiness as he did while he was here with us. You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you move forward. Love, Rick and Deb
